Don't spray 222s over the colour. It's basically sprayable superglue, not an isolator. If you want to put a 2k HS clear over the top of acrylic, you will need to put an isolator down so they don't react. Would just be easier to use a basecoat, less work and more user friendly. 222s is awesome...

Try some injector cleaner and replacing your fuel filter and/or your fuel pump. Check the vacuum hose that goes from the underside of the throttle body to the back of the engine to see if it has any cracks in it. If it does, replace it.

I wouldn't paint anything in Acrylic. I'd stick to 2k. Use the 1.8 for HS primer. Use the 1.4 for 2k basecoats and topcoats. If you paint with Acrylic you're going to have to buff the crap out of everything, whereas 2k is already shiny. Pulling the gun apart won't damage anything unless you drop...
