Chrome / alloy/ polished alloy wheels are the original and best look. I really don't like this current trend of blacking out everything. :(

I didn't try getting a hardlid. I just settled for the standard soft tonneau cover. Which I had to get, because the original one had clearance holes in it for the sportsbar

Yep, I wouldn't have it any other way. Took a bit of my own work and extra money to get it that way. Had to buy the new wheels, and chrome bits and get the dealers to fit them up

For those interested, My Black beauty has arrived at the dealership. But cant take her home yet, as there has been a "bungle" with the wheels I ordered for it. Only 3 wheels of the 4 turned up. The 4th wheel has to come up from Melbourne meaning another few days delay. :(

Thanks guys. I don't really want the sports bar on mine, and was just hoping it wasnt too much trouble to remove it in regard to the brake light.

Just a quick question all. Do the utes with the sports bar fitted, still have the brake light in the sailplane? In other words, if you take the bar off. Will you be left without a brake light?

Update Got the excellent news today that my local dealer has secured me an SSV Redline ute. Another dealer agreed to do an exchange!!!! So I'm now getting a 5th July build Manual 6 speed SSV Redline utility in black. They are expecting it at the dealership several days after its built.

All good, was the printed circuit that was the trouble not the speedometer.
