I got taken for a spin in this when the dealer still had it as their demo...may, or may not, be able to testify to it being able to light up most gears from a spirited launch haha.
Nice car man, sounded and went awesome!
I used to work for a high-end home theatre shop and the home Bose stuff is the same...you're paying for the name more than anything. Admittedly their home theatre packs sound ok for their tiny size...but then the Focal Dome pack sounds much better for similar price and similar footprint. I...
I had an older set of Hertz MLK 3's (back when they still had ribbon mids) in my first car...still hands down the best sounding car audio speakers I've heard to date. Hertz speakers are fantastic!
Cheers mate. Guy called Dale from OCDetailing here in Perth did mine. The only licensed Modesta applicator in VIC I can find at the moment is Bon Vivant Automotive Care in Port Melbourne...which is a little bit of a drive from you by the looks. They might be able to either come to you or know...
So had my first experience with Holden service last week (bit slow at updating the thread). All-in-all, I'm rather impressed so far. I mentioned a few little niggles and they were rectified with an explanation of what each of the causes were. I also mentioned a couple of little paint blemishes...
3.9's in a manual would be the go. I had a mate who got 4.11's and they whined, found out after that is a fairly regular thing and then wished he'd gone 3.9's.
Howdy all, I'm hoping this is allowed on this forum, otherwise apologies.
Last year my aunty passed away from leukaemia and seeing the effect this had on her and our family was devastating! As a result I feel compelled to participate in the world's greatest shave in March (between the 12-15...
Definitely get the wrap done first. I had Modesta Glass put over the vinyl decals on my old Ford GT and they still looked brand new when I sold the car.
Thanks mate :)
Personally, I'd go Modesta...and have done with my own car! Modesta gives an amazing finish, so much gloss! And with the black yours would look like glass!
I don't have any suggestions for reputable detailers in Melbourne though, sorry. Could be worth hitting up some of the car...
Haha done a few more kms than me then! I just ticked over 2,100kms :yeah:
Handy for the trade price places! Just need to start getting trade prices on blowers etc ;)
Fairly common with the TR6060 gearboxes bud. Can be improved with a short throw shifter and different oil, but they're always going to be a fairly agricultural gearbox as they're designed to handle a bucket load of torque stock.
From what I've seen and read, and if warranty isn't of concern, I'd be going with a Heartbeat blower. They have a heap more headroom than the 1.9L Harrop units (I know Harrop also offer a 2.3L , plus are quieter and have a great cooling system (i.e. lowest inlet temps). One thing to bear in mind...
Haven't had a huge chance to play with the smart function yet. Used the Youtube app once and that was easy enough. From what I've read the Samsungs are better with respects to Smart functionality, but the Sony's are the better panels. To be honest the Smart functions aren't why I bought the TV...
Congrats mate, you'll love it! They initially offered me tint for mine for $500 and $980 to lower it...I managed to talk them down to $1,000 for both, just shows how much margin there is in it for them.
I would never bother with dealership paint protection, it's little more than a sealant and...
I ended up picking up a Sony KD65X8500B UHD 4K TV last week for $2,942 from JB Hifi. Haven't adjusted any settings yet as haven't really had the time nor desire, but straight out of the box it looks fantastic. Picture quality is excellent and 4K is the ducks nuts. I was actually more impressed...
So the best price I've been quoted so far for a Sony KD65X8500B is $2,942. I'm gutted I missed the Boxing Day sale on VideoPro, as they had them for $2,498.
I'm currently looking into a new TV also. From all the reading I've been doing the Sony's are the way to go. I've had a 37" Samsung tv for about 6 or 7 years now and it's been fantastic...but it's a bit small in the room I've got it in now and I sit much further back than I did when I bought the...
That adds up to $1,650 Arron...or are you saying retail is $1,900 but you got quoted $1,650? That ain't tooooo bad from Holden I guess, would firm the rear braking up a bit though.
The front parking sensors won't pick up curbs and stuff though, so be mindful of that. I just reverse pack everywhere I can as there's more clearance on the rear plus you've got the reverse camera. I dropped 20mm on the front and 35mm on the rear using Pedders springs.
I had this happen once. If you can, try pulling down the ski hatch in the back seats and reach through and see if there's something touching the hinges etc. If not try pulling down on the handle on the inside of the boot lid to see if it frees up. That's how I got mine to open up and haven't had...
Looks nice mate. I'm of similar mind as you with my car at the moment, happy enjoying it as it is for a while. Had mine lowered and tinted pre-delivery, so I'm in no rush to do anything with it really.
Hey mate, sorry I'm actually away from my car until Wednesday next week. To be perfectly honest though, I personally wouldn't go any lower than I have on the front. The front bar would hit on everything if you do. I'm really happy with the height of my car, any lower and it would be a pain.
What I'd be interested to know is what's different about my MY15 Redline that makes it not play DVD, compared to the MY14 that does...is it just software or hardware related?
