I heard the electric steering stiffens up the faster you go, is that true? Maybe it's only noticeable on a track.

my 2014 ssv is electric. Pretty sure all vf's are. I know the accessories manual for the vf includes the ve. So maybe that's why it is in there.

Cool, thanks. So the cargo barrier is all done. As it turns out you don't even need a template for the floor screws, you just have to take out the 2 cargo hooks flip the panel over and you will see exactly where you need to drill the holes out. Wish I knew that earlier. Anyway it's all good now...

Ok. So I have the template and instructions, which says I need to remove the load floor bolts and remove the panel, problem is I can't see any bolts, does anyone know where they are? Obviously this is for the barrier to screw into the boot floor. I have the roof sorted.

Just to let people know if you didn't already, I contacted Holden head office and they told me that if there is software update available for your car, then any holden dealer has to do it free of charge.

All I want really is a little more power and throttle response, and a nicer sound to the car, nothing outrageous.

I don't want a full system on a small budget, I was asking if there was something you should start with in particular and add to it later. I might end up spending 10k on mods, but only gradually, so was looking for a starting point.

Nothing specific, but what I am getting at is that Holden aren't fixing the problems, or glitches, or bringing out many upgrades. A small example would be that many people want the guide lines for the reverse camera. Surely it would be a simple software upgrade for holden, but they won't do it...

Just had a 15k service and holden used 10w60 oil for the car. Is this normal, as the manual states 5w30 only? Should 5w30 only be used, or is there a reason for this? Should I change it? Does it even matter?

Not sure if this is a stupid question or not, but there seems to be a lot of software problems with the vf, such as climate control problems, I just want to know if there is anyone else that has the capability of fixing software problems for the car other than holden?

Cool, I can put up with it as long as it's normal and most if not all the L77's do it. If they don't all do it, there must be a reason.
