Sounds like youve misaligned something woth the trans linkage. Car wont start unless in neutral or park. Its cranking in reverse (which it shouldnt) and you have reverse lights on in park. I would check everything around the linkage and make sure its on properly.

Afaik, some codes will clear on there own, others need to be cleared with a scan tool (tech2). I think it just depends on how critical they are. Did u inspect the wiring aswell?. U may be able to clear the code by disconnecting the battery, holding ur foot on the brake for a couple of seconds to...

If the heater tap is actually cracked then u should see coolant leaking from it, IF that is the actual problem. if u cant see coolant leaking from it then its probably just cosmetic, but if its on the cold side of the tap then it might not leak until the heater is turned on and the temperature...

A dodgy door sensor would explain the light staying on....and im pretty sure the car wont lock if one of the doors is still open...so if the sensor is saying its open but the door is actually closed....

U shouldnt get any reading on the gauge. So uve either disconnected the wrong sensor, theres a problem in the wiring, or the gauge itself is stuffed. Sometimes they will default to max temp reading when disconnected, other times they stay at 0.

I dare say what came up was either an error or just a history of logged faults. I dont think it would be possible to have 50 odd codes and not have the cel illuminated. Strange how they were all in very close succession to each other aswell

I think the most common cause of this fault is a dodgy crank angle sensor. Have u checked for codes?

Probably a safe bet that a new cam angle sensor will fix it. Probably not a bad idea to do the crank angle sensor at the same time. Check the wiring and make sure its ok aswel

No real easy way to test the pump without removing it and inspecting it. If its a very quick spike in temp that comes back to normal temp just as quickly...its probably just air in the system. So u will need to bleed the system properly.
