VCM have just released a 1 7/8 long tube tri-y header.They come of the head very nicely and are an excellent fit. I fitted a set a couple of weeks ago to a VE that already a 2 1/2"cat-back. Sounded awesome. I'm fitting a cam to it now so will let you know how it sounds/goes

Did you gap ALL the plugs before you put them in????.....cracked ceramic will cause a misfire. Have you checked that???...what temp range are the plugs that you put in and do they suit your engine configuration???

When the chain stretches it brings up a code for cam phasing. The sensors are working correctly and are picking up the difference in timing between the cams and the crank. The chains won't neccessarily make any noise when this happens. But yes it will feel a little low on power due to the timing...

Cool....i am running an Aeromotive filter in the cavity where the pollen filter gets fitted. Constant air flow allows cooling. And a external reg for boost referencing.

The rear sensors are for calculating cat efficiency. When the cats are changed,the differences in readings between the front and rear sensors are beyond factory parameters and the light comes on.

AFM cylinders are 1,4,6 and 7. So they were still wrong.

I had 2 cups start to walk outwards of the centre uni on my VY. Pressed it back together and re-peened the shaft...all good after that.

Engine specs suggest otherwise.....maybe it was the cars that weren't ready for a blown 7ltr

Had a VU SS...no problems,VX SS had slight piston noise during warm up,no oil consumtion or noise when at operating temp so didnt bother with it,VY SS had no dramas.

Why only a cat back system...the factory cats are so restrictive. Go the whole hog and put headers and cats on too
