thats not true mate, trust me alloys are painted from new, if you dont blv me, put some paint stripper on em and see if that takes them back to the bare metal

first pic is how they were second is after sanding out all the chips/gutter marks etc and painting with an etch primer 3rd after sanding again and painting with undercoat 4th is after sanding again painting

think so mate, if your wheels are painted alloy, if they are chrome or brushed alloy its a different story, but your typical greyish silver alloys are painted
