No just very tight between the roof & the plastic trim on the centre pillar.

About 10 little phillips screws hold the gutter mould to the roof. The only trickly part is the centre pillar, mould sticks between the roof and the pillar.

The trim piece is the extra wheelbase length between a standard sedan and a long wheelbase sedan. Like I said it has nothing to do with the seats. In a vr/vs statesman, the edge of the rear seat fits into this gap, I know because i have a statesman interior in my exec.

What you have circled is a trim piece that attaches to the side, its not a part of the seat. The wh rear reats sits further back than a normal sedan, but it fits in the same place as a standard seat.

Yes they will fit. The door trims are the same size. Your only problem will be the rear seat with the seatbelts. Standard sedan the belts come from the c pillar. The Wh has the belts attached to the rear parcel shelf and the belt comes through the seat itself, not from the pillar, otherwise you...

Has anyone removed the main dash/engine loom from a VT? Is the engine bay fuse block taken into the cabin or it has to come out the other way? I've bought climate control to put into my exec with the loom & bcm, but can't figure out how to get the old loom out.

The difference is that the Statesman unit doesn't have a clock, the clock is in the dash. You need to have the pin code to run it in the Calais.

I presume you have removed the bolt that attaches the air con piping into the heater box under the windscreen. There are only 2 bolts in the engine bay into the heater box & you have to remove the fan resistor as well for it to clear the firewall when you try to pull it out.

Does anyone know if the VP Calais with BCM can learn to recognise a new remote, or do I have to take it to a Holden dealer to get it programmed? The reason I am asking is that I have only one remote and need to buy a second one.

You have to take the rear quarter window surround out on the inside of the car. The seatbelt bolt goes through it on the c pillar.

Take the whole window & replace yours (3 screws on pillar, 5 or 6 plastic nuts inside car & sealant).

The VR/VS moulds fit except you have to use the VP Berlina/Calais rear quarter window with the inbuilt moulds. The door top moulds are held on by screws. The back door has a screw at the b pillar end and a second screw under the fixed window. You have to take the door trim off to get to the...

Go to a Holden dealer with proof of ownership & the vin number off the car. They can do a search for the key number which a reputable locksmith can cut from the code.

The fuel sender & pump fit fine, but the fuel gauge will be out. The height of the 80 ltr tank is heigher, you might need to bend the float wire to reach the bottom, otherwise you will show empty when there is still 15 litres in the tank.

All standard speedos go to 220. 200 kmph speedos are usually from a police pack.

A standard vn has 1 pump inside the tank with the gauge sender, a v8 has 2, 1 inside and 1 outside (like the vl).

A new switch costs less than $20 from Holden!

Its not a Vh cluster. The neddle points on the gauges are vb/vc and the facia should be black on a Vh.

The speedo is a police speedo. My vc interceptor has the same fine needle speedo. Full instrumentation clusters didn'r appear until GMH started producing specific police packs.
