hey guys need a comp, to tune my vt.. got no idear what sort or kind. i want good value for cash, dont have to be the humdinger. love something plug and swap, not wire and re wire, and yer its on road, verry stock, no fancy sencors. and dont want to have em either. simplicty is key

yer lol, was thinking of bodgeing the rule by useing the catchcan and insted of putting a filter on top, i was thinking of re directing the gasses somewere before the cat.. but not sure if id get a vacc but the exaust would wanna pressurise it... if posible probly best way to bend that law

Hey guys just wondering if its fine to put a stopper in place of a pcv valve and use a filter vent on the rocker cover?? mainly cos i dont like the fact im getting hot air and oil in the manifold..

yer 355 is the way to go, if you got the spare $$ get ful blueprint an bal just make sure that there done well.. you get a better throttle responce with 355 over 383, and the 383 are more prone to problems... or if you want a easy-ish way get the new ve v8 sidi and supercharge it

late to the party probly a bit late in thred for my 2 cents but any hoo... as a boilermaker my self i would tig if the gap is smaller then 1.6mm if over i would moast certanly mig it useing .6mm soild wire, if the gap is more than 3mm try to get another section to fit better. if not an option...

well i guess some one has to get 2 sets of heads and match port em polish one and try both... on that note it is wise to polish nere the opening of the port as to help stop deposits of gunk... one thing i want to see is some one grind a head and weld a pipe into it to make like a pipe into cone...

use a thick gasket glue or whiteout if ya game around the ports on the block and bolt the head on loosly-ish the un bolt then you can see the over-lap the grind away..... im drunk tho soo probly not a good idear

have you put a ruler against the flange?? if not check if there are any gaps (bent, pitted etc) if pitted or bent get some wet and dry sand paper (grit 1200 if im not mistaken) place on a flat surface and rub the flange till it is strait again(slight gaps in used manifolds and extractors are not...

hi guys, just bought a "drift" dual stage shift light, and im just wondering were do i plug (or piggy back) the rpm wire?? and should i mount the light on the dash or on the piller?? oh and what would be the easyest way to go about this??
