update. removed left hand rocker cover where it was loudest. rockers were tight so removed pushrods all were good value springs also good. i am planning to reinstall the pushrod and rockers the correct way to get it runnning so others can listen. another thing to add is the engine was idling...

u cant really just modify a bumper. easiest way is just to keep your eyes out. btw u can use a vx series 1 bumper and grill just use vx series 2 headights if u like the tinted look. maybe monaro headlights is an good idea

i brought a calais dash for my vx but i've been told unless u got tech 2 your F***ed so i need to no where i can get a tech 2 connected up. ppl say try holden but they would want loads to do10 minutes of work :/ any ideas and prices?

cool. its gotta be reprogramed anyway so ill miles get the extra 4000ks on it. anyway my speedo has been out for so long it probly hasnt done the 4000 k's anyway. then again it did even work for 20 ks atone stage. psh if i sell it they'll see it changed calais dash in an exec. haha :p

im wanting to do a hid conversion to my vx. i know i need a h4 kit but when i search for kits they say they are h4-3 blubs. what i'd like to know it the h4-3 kit will work in my vx. btw im doing a lo ho conversion so all the lights will be a white :)

im my vx the blower works on all speeds fine but is a bit of an asmatic. when compaired to my mates vy. im guessing the hvac unit is the same so if i put a vy or vz blower motor in my vx it will work better? please help im in WA and the next couple of days are going to be 40 :/

ok i fitted them yes it does sit higher by about 5 mm then my dads gts which has the same HT tagged springs in it. its still lower then standard (fe1) , looks sick and rides and handles better. So i would say its worth doing it u get the hsv springs and shocks cheap but ur car may sit different...

This is probly a dumb question but i've got some hsv springs from a vx r8. the rear springs are the same as fe2 with EM on the tag which according to the holden service manual is v6 v8 fe2 rear springs so thats not a problem. my problem is I dont not know wat the code HT is HJ i think is front...

ok what i've done is checked if the bolts holding the airbag are tight and won't come loose and aslo check how well they are earthing though the seats. turns out its super strong as my muilt meter read 0.05 when measured to the door switchs earth. thanks for the help guys

True. they aren't connected to anything. they are only from a 05 sv6 so not too old. i've never ever seen the side airbags deployed in a vt to vz commodore even when hit in the side. anyway if i remove them ill need to build something to fill its space like on the other side has a hard form...

there is no connection on the car side. i can run a passenger airbag as the wiring is there for it. but im not worried about conecting them i just wanna know forsure that having them just disconnected wont cause them to deploy. because to remove them from the seat wont be an easy job :/

doesnt matter to much. it looks like the airbags are bolted to a metal plate in the seat, which as being part of the seats metal frame would earth the airbag out

How did you earth them?

I brought some vz sv6 seat for my vx. the seats have side airbags in them but my cars old seat didnt have them. should i remove them as the plug is not connect to anything? or should i leave them in. and they shouldnt randomly deploy on me as hey are not connected.
