Ah ok, i forgot about the parcel shelf aye. I was just thinking, another option could be to run 4 speakers + 1 amp then depending if there isn't loud enough i could upgrade to 6 speakers by using the parcel shelf, and adding another amp, while upgrading the power cable and maybe a head unit...

Alright, so say the front speakers are 110W and rears are downsized to 80W RMS and the amp puts out 110RMS x 4. Would the rears have a high chance of blowing?? So is pioneer, alpine more reliable as a amp over an Jaycar Response?

Well im not doing the setup in one hit, ill put the head unit in and at the same time re-wire the whole audio system. and if i have the rear speakers ill put them in at the same time too. then ill do the door vr/vs pods with the tweeters in the dash speaker part. then amp. and finnally a sub...

they are both pioneer, the sub is TS-W309D4 with RMS 400 watts and peak 1400watts and amp is GM-6500F with 60Wx4 RMS. what is the parcel shelf? is that under the rear window??

yea i dont mind it coming from behind either, plus i like more bass, as long as i can still hear the high freq.

ok great thats the info i love, yea i was liking the pioneer too. so would it be better to run the rear speakers off the headunit? or could i run the front speakers off the headunit and rear off the amp?? what would be the pros/cons for doing it either way??

not sure, head deck is 95, sub is about 200?? speakers are 130 each so 260 maybe?? i havn't completely looked at priceing yet, mainly at what is possible. but im looking at the lower price end of the high end brands.. if that makes sense..

so would that also power the rear speakers?? are you able to 'split' a channel? so from 1 channel you split it into 2 channels? that is if there is enough watts to share around..
