Anyone else join the dots?...I'm probably too cynical but what I noticed about the US auto industry bailout in 2008 is that although their government is calling it a success, they never mention the fact that financial institutions had to significantly ramp up 'auto laons' to keep the industry churning out vehicles so auto makers could stay afloat and pay back the bail-out funding...with a good lot of 'subprime' auto loans thrown in on top.
So nothing has actually improved ...the tax payer bailed out the big auto makers via government elites, while the banks ramped up the debt on the citizen tax payer consumer to buy the cars to provide profit for the corporate shareholders.
It's a big f-ucking con
The underlying economic fundamentals have not improved, it's just that the big auto makers & Wall St corporates got bailed out, and continue receiving their bonuses, while the citizens tax payers are again left holding all the debt!
The vehicles lose value as soon as you drive them off the lot, but the assets the corporate CEO's buy with their big incomes go UP in value (property and stocks)
Its a Win-Lose deal my friends....the big boys win, and the little guys lose.
