I'd rule grounding issues out firstly, it can have weird effects like over volting because the IBS/BMS tries to compensate. You can use a jumper cable from engine to chassis, see if it has any effect

hello, just for curiosity i piggy backed a large heavy duty cycle with jumper leads directly to the boot battery but no luck, having the extra power in the system did nothing. still got no cruise control,aabs = on, stability control = off,alternator fault (low voltage on F terminal. So i bought a new alternator and just waiting for it to be delivered.I will let you all know when i find the problem. cheers Garry
