Was 263K km last year, now around 277K km.
Only difficult to take off, high RPM and slowly take off. After that, the car would run fine. As long as the car is moving, slowly rolling, accelerating fine.
High rpm and slow take off sounds like it is slipping.

Yes, it causes the car shaking too when trying to take off. Sometimes, it can take off normally.
That is because the transmission is knackered.
When you do get another one fitted get it serviced regularly and if oil is leaking anywhere get it fixed before it causes more issues.

The transmission is most likely stuffed, and being a 5spd auto, they're known for failing and if you were to rebuild the trans, it will only last another 2 or 3 years... Just ask @Fu Manchu and his transmission nightmares on his old VE Calais...

Not worth rebuilding, as it's a 5 spd auto... These transmissions are the worst ones fitted to the VE's...

The problem with rebuilding these transmissions is that it will happen again in a few years time... I don't know if 6 spd auto conversions are a thing, but then you might as well sell this SV6 and buy one with the 6 spd auto...
