Brembos off a redline worthy upgrade?

Hi guys,

I'm new here but I'm wondering if putting the Brembos off a redline is worth it? I have a series 2 ss. Any advice is appreciated!

I have a series 2 ssv redline with the brembo's and find the brakes great!! I regularly tow my 1 tonne boat and even with the trailer brakes off the car pulls up awesome, even long windy down hills hard on the brakes there is no smell and doesn't seem to get overly hot.. Doubt standard SS breaks would do that

Any kind of brake upgrade on a VE is worthwhile. The stock brakes are woeful. Even a pad, rotor and fluid upgrade (which is what I have done) makes a world of difference. Still not enough but it's a good improvement.

+1 on worth it. Awesome stopping power compared to the stockys I've driven. After driving with the brembos you don't think you are gonna stop in time driving one without them.

2 pot stock standard callipers and rotors....or 4 pot after-market Brembo's with larger rotors.....hrmmmm....

big brakes will be first mod i do to any future cars after putting big brakes on my SS, simply awesome to drive with and a lot safer.

Another thing would they bolt up to the car without mods? I have redline wheels already so clearance isn't an issue.

Brembo brake covers are cheaper and look the same...
