Hmm, I’m starting to believe Narva’s globes are mostly Osram’s repackaged for the Australian market. Both myself and my old man seem to have a lot of bulbs stamped Osram in our sheds. (Because the two of us are the ones that need to look after the cars of all the women in the family.) Yet him and I have only ever bought globes from where I work - even before I worked there, thats where the bulbs came from and they don't have Osram.

Looks like one of my driver’s tasks for tomorrow will be putting plus 200’s in the new work ute. I’ll check this theory out and advise…

Seems like Holden didnt do well in the headlight manufacturing dept ... Im surprised that VF model owners are having issues I would of thought they sorted it after the VT /VX ... I have a VX and use the Narva plus 200's they are a big improvement on factory but im wondering if theres aftermarket that would improve it a bit more... I think the flaw is the reflector cap that sits over the globe... High beam is awesome but low beam has room for improvement. Seems absurd to me that much older cars probably have a better headlight spread HQ for example.

I always think the lights on my VF are a shocker for a modern vehicle.

I keep a candle in the glovebox in case I need it for night driving.

Are they better or worse than VE projector lights? Having said that if you tried my Triumph on low beam you would say the VF lights are pretty good. I think the lights on it are just there to make it legal and that's about it.

Ha! Totally agree. The factory halogens throw a weak, piss-yellow that is just useless. First thing I did was throw in some Osram Night Breakers and threw the factory globes in the bin where they belong

Ok, so not bad on high beam but not great on low?
Housings are slightly different, but the low beam projectors are very similar.
Both woeful with halogen H7 bulbs.
