CAMS Officials

This is a very empty part of the forum, there must be Motorsport fans here somewhere.

Is anyone a CAMS official or volunteer?
If so what position and where(Event/Location/Circuit) have you worked?
Any interesting stories?

I was a volunteer at hidden valley. I worked security at the event for a few years and got sick of not been able to watch the race. My dad and his mates were volunteers so I gave them a hand. All we had to do was deliver morning tea,lunch and afternoon tea to all of the officials around the track during the breaks in the racing. The rest of the time we hung around pit lane watching the racing.

I did some flag marshall volunterring at a couple of track days at Barbagello many years ago, stationed at the Esses. Those marshall towers are a pretty good spot to watch the action from.
