GTS has 20mm less rear track than VE SSV (ofc it has 245s), VF SSV redline has 30mm more track with same tyre width.

*shrug* Then ADR for tyre width isn't the reason. Odd.

Maybe HSV clients will care if they have a dirty backside where as the general holden plebs wont? I wonder what other subtleties they mightve done that we dont know about yet?

Well HSV guy says he asked Andrew Purcell same question at Clayton and he said was ADR req so doesn't spray water and make a dirty backside. More toiletry than wizardry unfortunately!
Passive bi-modal micro wet flap / arse wipe. HSV has all mod cons!

14.1.2.1.2. the rear of the wheel guards must not terminate above a horizontal plane 150 mm above the axis of rotation of the wheels (as measured at the wheel centres) and furthermore the intersection of the edge of the wheel guard with this plane (point A, Figure 1) must lie outside the median longitudinal plane of the tyre;


Another VF recall to retrofit water wings?!
