If it is just in the clear coat you can sometimes carefully fill it with clear. Then buff it in. They drizzle it in rather spray it in.

Have a think about what you can do yourself to get costs down, and improve the efficiency for the painter.
Remove as many trims as you can.

Now one tiny thing is bugging me I found a small sctatch about 50mm long on my roof, can be caught with fingernail, How hard is it to repair this on your roof? Im hoping someone isnt going to say you need to respray the whole roof.

Have a look into sprayless scratch repair (SSR).

Just get a mate with a beat up Triton (or your girl in her Yaris at a pinch) to reverse into you and call your friendly insurer.
