Hi, so after replacing and cleaning area of fuses got radio and elect windows working not sure what was in melted fuse one prev owner said aircon, radio, dimister, and sunroof had electric issues. Heres some extra pics
Did you find anything connected to the cables going from ignition switch and did you find an immobilizer box somewhere above the pedals? You may need to move things around a bit to access things better. Remove the plastic cover that is above the actual pedals and remove the big dash lid that covers the fuses, they're all held in place by plastic pins and clips etc. Unmount the 2 relays below the steering wheel so they hang loose for now, and anything else that you'll find that lets you get to things better, including the lower section of the plastic surrounds cover of the ignition switch. You really need good light to be able to take useful pics of black and dark things in there. I don't see the ignition swith cables here, they're usually on the left side of the steering.

Sometimes fuses can melt because people connect extra things on a partifular circuit and by doing that put extra load on it.. that red wire connected to the orange wire with the white quick joiner on the left side of the fuses is an example of this. Orange wire is original wireing, 12V power, and the red one is something added on. You should find out exactly where this goes and if it's something you no longer need in the car then remove it, but get the engine running first.

If it's going up towards the roof (as far as i can tell) then it could be for your interior light having been re-wired for some reason, or you got something extra mounted on roof area.

Could that something extra be the sunroof?[/QUOTE]
Yes it could, and if it's connected from the dimister fuse then it could explain why it's melted.
