I thought it was an electric steering pump, not a servo motor?

EDIT: Nope, it's an electric motor, no hydraulics

Yeah it's electric motor that belt-drives on the rack.

Not everyone here has a VF, but some of us want to learn how these machines work.

I have a VF sv6 and to turn traction completely off I have to hold the traction button down until the 2 icons appear on dash. Try that because they would all have it
