I have 2 sets of HSV Headers and I’m not sure which set is for which car. I’m wanting to put these on a VT 5 Litre. Any help would be appreciated.

Second ones are hsv the top ones are the VN 5 litre ones . Have was the flat flange type not cone type gasket. I think the bottom are vp - vs hsv. so I don't know if either will fit.

Top look like vn as tuck in tight & cones at bottom...vr/s that I've had were flat flange

Bottom pair look longer in pics might be your vt items as they go straight out 2-3 inches off the head before curving down...on a vn-s they'll hit the chassis rail which is the dead giveaway

The second set look more like the exhausts shown in the Holden Factory VN V8 engine manual:

vq caprice v8 vq v8 vs ss man
I have a vt 5lt in a vq statesman
The cast iron headder part numbers are the same for the passangers side but the drivers is different vt seems to hang wider off the block due to the wider engine bay and steering rack size shape location vs the vq being a tighter fit to the block to squeeze past the bulkier variable ratio rack so id say the earler type should fit but the y pipe may foul on the full circle bell housing of vs s3 and vt autos and the vn thru vs 5lt cat flange is to the side where as the vt has duel cats off the headders down to a y pipe past the trans similar to the vs vt v6 pipe
