Welcome to Just Commodores, a site specifically designed for all people who share the same passion as yourself.
I will second that,There is nothing much worse than someone trying to make a v6 sound good. I nearly break into tears every time I hear one go passed. I can only assume they want their car to sound like a v8.
Sell it and buy a v8.
There’s always an exception to a rule but in this case, a Commodore is not one of them. Some V6’s sound decent. The classic Alfa V6, the VW narrow-angle one (although the angle’s so narrow that I’m pretty sure the exhaust ports are all on the same side & maybe that’s why it sounds OK), for example. Dunno anything about that Ferrari engine … is it similar to the Giulia V6 ‘cos I’ve heard one of them drive past & it sounded like it could be reasonable (it wasn’t trying very hard at the time).

Simple answer
NO !
Save your money,
You will say it’s sound good for 3 months,
Until !
You will want to change after the drone it will create ! As it will be a PITA,
Don’t take my/our word for it,
Just do it/Try it,
And let us know when you have put the stock exhaust back on.
Then it will be, “ Told Ya So”
So does it red-line at 1000rpm, or as an alternative does it need a rebuild every 500 hours? The only “6” that I’d argue sounds great, is horizontally opposed, straight piped, runs on leaded fuel, is air cooled, and packs a mighty 8.8L of displacement.
The mighty Lycoming 0-540 engine.
But that has a propeller in the front, and is from my past life
