xr6 turbo tuned to 300 rwkw's. VF SSV
You typically lose 10-20% from drivetrain loss whixh is dependent on a few things
457 × 1.1 = 502.7
457 x 1.2 = 548.4
So...457 x 1.16 = 530.16 which backs up your googling

And don't stress about how much Holden said it had standard, that is running on an engine dyno without a transmission, accessories or emissions

Do you have a dyno print out with Kw And Nn at RPM

I assume you have a nice flat torque curve

if it was just done on a dyno then they prob wouldnt have picked up on it, would have to be street driven to find that it needs adjusting, not sure how many places do a wot run in 1-2 its prob more a drive around to check average feel of it, they would have to do a log to see it then if it is adjust it accordingly, or even if u ask them to take say 200rpm lower in WOT shift rpm and 3kph lower in the WOT speed kph in the 1-2 shift, should fix it if thats the issue
Don't know if there was a road test. I assumed there would be but maybe there wasn't.

How does the car "feel"?

Can you notice a difference ?

Talk to your tuner and ask him how your car compares to other VF SS with typical mods, he should still have your file

There is a calculation to work out torque from hp and rpm

Wow thanks Ginger beer l will check out the torque calculator. Car feels much better, especially top end 3000 rpm onwards, similar to my old turbo falcon. More responsive at low revs but doesn't feel much more 'torquey' than before. My son was using the car the day before the tune, just found out he put 91 ron fuel in it so it was tuned on 91 I usually run 98. If the transmission shifts were sorted it would be great. He is a good tuner with great reviews.

I'll put some 98 in it today!
Won't do alot if it tuned on 91

Unless the tuner just uploaded a 98 file and put it on the dyno

I would definitely ask the tuner which fuel is on the file

Along with touching up the trans, you've now given yourself a second big reason to kiss some arse and get old mates best price to sort it. Hesitate for too long and you may be paying full price again.
