VF SV6 SERIES 1
Hi,

I currently own a 14 VF SV6.

Thinking of getting a 2020 ZB Calais.

Was wondering what the difference is I know the 2020 came with Apple CarPlay.

What things would I notice, is the performance better? Is it more luxurious?

What kind of checks do I need to do (i.e recalls) what are the common issues etc.

Thanks

Have a look at the ZB thread. It should give you a fair few tips.

why would you do that to yourself? No different to buying a BMW thats out of warranty unless you get one with less than 40K km's on it and get rid of it by 100K?

compared to the sv6 it is much better all round.
if you get the v6(awd) variant you will find it has better performance and handles really well.

some of them have head leaky diffs, and ac issues but like any vehicle it is random where it shows up.
if you do need parts other than maintenance items they need to be ordered in from europe.

for a daily driver i find the zb to be a solid vehicle, mine does 100km per day and has been good for the last few years.

they sell them in the us under the buick badge as a "regal" and they have sold more there than here so have a look around the buick forums and see what the common issues are there, some of them wont apply here but its worth a look.

Yeah, I guess the BMW engines and gearboxes must be built in the US too, like the Commodore engines and gearboxes are.
