crackers i can see what you mean about a full on rebuild you require all those tools but the point is once i get the $55 rebuild kit i am going to get nakkerz to give it his best crack at fixing it and then see how it all goes. It might just need the seal's. No point arguing guys about who can do what.

Nakkerz mate if you can rebuild it for me that would be great mate so call me or message me about $$ wise how much you would want for having a crack at it.

Anyways guys i bought today for $100 what a steal a vl turbo exhaust manifold which has been heat proofed powder coated and a Vl turbo dump pipe off the turbo which too has been powder coated in that heat proof s**t. Tried to bolt the dump pipe to the turbo but the bottom two bolts wont match up so what can i do ?

Detox_nath83 i messaged you about the cooler and piping can you get back to me on a $$$.

And nakkerz hey once i have the full kit can you please help me fit it all up mate pm me on how much $$$ you would like or would you preffer a few slabs .

This thread is hurting my brain.....

For starters the turbo is not worth $55,
no cooler = fail....
That turbo has a V band so custom dump is needed (more money waisted on VLT one),
+ whatever other advice u have been given & ignored....

Im just not thinking u understand what the point of all the advice is, no offence to u or anything but if ur not gunna listen u should not have asked

The rebuild kit is $55.

I got the exhaust manifold and dump pipe for the same price. 2 for price off one.
Cooler i am doing now.

And all other advice has been very help full thats why i am now doing it the way these blokes recommend. I just wanted to ask again to see if i can have it boosted quicker by not going 3 inch exhaust and intercooled but yer i am going to do it the right way and go intercooled and 3 inch exhaust.

so now all i want to know is will that turbo work with the standard vlt kit ?

With the oil and water feed and with the oil drain fittings can you use plumbers tape ?

where are you considering using plumbers tape?
they are most banjo bolts... think mine are most j.i.c fittings or tappered threads so plumbers tape isnt needed...also once again dont no how well it would go with the heat...

nah man i haven't and i got no problems..
could use gas tape (pink stuff) but i dont know if it will stand the temps either.
and as stated above tapered threads so dont worry.

ill look for that cooler and let u know.. its not the piping its just the core.
ill get a pic and measurements and u decide

I am going to sell the t3/t4 and wait a little while and buy a vl t3.
