2013 VF SSV Wagon
I’m looking for some advice.

I own a 2013 vf series 1 ssv wagon. Great car love it. I recently had to leave it at the panelbeaters for 4 days. When I picked it up it says remote not detected. The panelbeaters looked at and they could fix it. My mechanic couldn’t fix it. Can anyone give me a clue. I’ve tried the remote from home and nothing.
The diagnostic says:
BCM (Body Control Module) 1 problems exist
1.B3101-00 Tire Pressure/Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Data Circuit
Current
This Ignition Cycle: Failed Last Test: Failed Current DTC Since DTC Clear: Failed
DTC History Status: History MIL Status: Not Requested.
So we are all scratching our heads.

Could it be a blown fuse.
Will disconnecting the battery do the trick.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Dennis

Silly question here but have you replaced the battery in the remote?
The passive entry needs the remote battery to not be flat to work.

Fair question stooge. One battery was brand new and the other one is 5 months old.

VF Redline Sedan - A6 Spitfire MSE...
Try placing the fob in the slot inside the console bin. It's made for this purpose.
My Redline was going haywire after a week at the panel shop too. Disconnecting the battery for several minutes did the trick. Back to normal. I suspect the battery was drained at the panel shop...

No the remotes do not work. One was with the car and the other at home. Which makes me think it’s something with the car not the remotes.

That’s the only way it works at the moment. I will do as you say with the battery and remove both terminals for about 10 minutes. Thanks for the advice.

Yes try reset by disconnecting battery for a few minutes.
Failing that, I had a key that semed to have "lost its linkage" (because I have 3 keys) - got dealer to resync all under warranty.

Disconnecting the battery didn't work. Looks like I'll have to go to the dealer.

You said you had it at the panelbeaters. Was it an insurance job? If so, they should cover the issue..?
