Solved front air vent not coming on on hot days

:yahoo::yahoo: THANKS TO AN OLD THREAD BY AZZA84. The problem is solved!! On my SS 2012 on a hot day the front air vents wouldnt come on. Didn't matter what I pressed! The solution is to reset the air conditioner as AZZA84 posted: hold down the demist button for 10 seconds. You have the engine turned onto accessories and you will hear the vents click for a few minutes and then all reset. Thank you AZZA84!!

Can you please be al little more precise of what you are referring to when you state 'demist button' ?

It's the front window demist button that you hold down and then you hear the vents readjusting. Then turn your car on and put air conditioning on front face vents and they'll come on even on a hot day.

I believe he is referring to the windscreen level button found on models with climate control.

Yes actually the one that is like a little picture of your front windscreen with heatwave lines through it.
