I never had my fingers calibrated. Clean plug hole, screw in plug, nip up with plug socket, that'll do. Must have been just lucky not to have a disaster.

Crush washer plugs need more than a nip. I used to torque them for a few months until I noticed a change in feel where you can feel the washer at full compression now I do them by hand. Tapered seat plugs only need a nip to hit the 7nm recomended. But I did a set on a 2019 golf the other day and they wanted 28nm which is very high for plugs so I did that and had to borrow a ultra deep spark plug socket because they didn't fit my snap-on mag socket.

This ones a bit like the oil question so here's my 10 cents worth.
Purchased a set of these Bosh spark plugs - HR8DPP30V
Have traveled about 100,000 ks and no cleaning done and she still fires up first pop.
I also purchased a set for our Subaru Outback.

Did the Valiant go Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!!! My deceased brother in laws use to it was a big old orange 1970 2 door tank, he used a tennis racquet to stop the seat from folding back while driving. It was grouse car he use to take us to Philip island in the summer time. Memories from the early 90's.

Na, it used to go woop woop and some big fat person used to get out with pen and paper in hand to lighten your wallet.

Email the photos to yourself and select large. This will shrink the photo. I do this quite a bit.

One of the plugs broke at the ceramic bit when we removed it too so maybe that one was a bit tight

Use a site like imgur ( it works really well). Load your photos there and then when you click on the photo options come up, pick url for forum sites , copy and paste link using the cymbal to the right of the A ( tool bar at the top of your post). On this site.
