08 SV6 manual
Hey all,

As the title says, does anyone know the actual clearance for a stock sv6 at the rear wheels? I've had a rough try at working it out and what i can gather it's about 19 - 20mm at the lowest point behind the wheel near the suspension sturts.

Just needing to know because i've found some snow chains that only need 16 mm clearance not to rub the suspension struts.

Thx for any and all help in advanced,

Sheepz

We're heading to Mount Buller in August. I rang the place where I usually get my snow chains from (Mansfield BP, 03 5775 2807, ask for Gavin) for the now sold VY and asked if I could get chains for a WM Caprice - 245/45/18 size tyre. Without hesitation, he said "Yep, no problems, size 104".
