glad its all good mate... just wanted to add that a while back I did a tranny service and didn't have the filter in properly and it dislodged into the sump. The o-ring came out when I pulled the old filter out (unbelievable!!!) and I didn't tap it in securely (idiot!). The 'trany' fluid subsequently exploded out the dipstick and there was a brief fire on the header (caught in the nick of time with a heart rate of 300bpm). A tad dramatic but just thought id add that experience!

Nothing worse than seeing your car burn infront of your eyes. Nearly happened to me when my battery cooked itself one day while I was outside. I had a pair of scissors with me, I cut the earth wire connected to the battery and had a bucket of water near by. Had I not been there, probably would have burnt my house down with it :s

Those sound like some super sharp scissors! The pair I have would struggle to cut through wet bread, let alone wire!

Bucket of water for a oil fire, I think you failed your fire fighting course.

It'll still work for that small amount... better than letting it burn

I was talking about another type of fire. Not an oil fire. An electrical fire...
