I reckon the best place for the cut out would be after the 2nd resonator... right below the rear bumper is where people usually put it

If you were happy with the noise level before you had the rear muffler - than that's obviously your answer of where to put it

After your first muffler should in theory make the sound identical to as b4...

I'm not a fan if loud sixes, although I had a twin tb v6 that was loud"ish" and it sounded good... Mind you it took 4 exhaust set ups of different cats, mufflers and pipes plus the engine work to make it ok.
I got commented in its sound by several.
I guess my point is v6s don't sound good by nature bud, it takes slot of work! so give it a good amount of thought..

Btw If u want STUPIDLY LOUD just drop after cat..

My 2c is don't waste your cash bud.

Yeah mate I live the sound it has, I'm putting in a butterfly cutout though, it's more for the sake of it than anything, a 'giggle button' if you will. Late night on the roads just for a bit of fun and then back to normal when I want :)

It will be used on rare times and on some night drives now and then. It's more or less for the option of the loudness to feed my immature mind.

i mean wanting a car to be louder for the pure sake of it is stupid and there for makes me a moron child right?

Whaaaaat the??? I sincerely hope your last quote wasn't sarcasm…

yeah the cops wont though. P plate reppin.

And yeah im thinkign cut out after the hotdog or possibley just after the cat.. dunno

So, you don't want to put a V8 in it, but you can justify having a stupidly loud and annoyingly bad sounding exhaust, and think that it would be ok and the police won't be after you?

It is to place an electric cutout, not to constantly run it from there.
Can't believe no one else ever wants to make their car really loud just for the sake of it, and then back to their nice system that sounds proper?
