car has 750 hp 2.9L whipple supercharger running
8-9 pounds off boost motor has all the supporting mods cams heads etc. Stock bottom end

The current oil in the car Is
Penrite HPR 5w-40 I've had no issues with it but want to go with a more premium grade oil for a performance vehicle.

I'm looking at either the
Pernite 10tenths premium 5w-50
Or
Penrite 10tenths Racing 10W-40

What are your recommendations also car gets driven once or twice a week so fuel economy is not a issue.

The penrite is actually a 5w-30 the 40 is the extra ten.

a 60 is thick for 100c oil temps, u will gain in pressure but loose some flow, and id rather have more flow at a good pressure then the highest pressure with the least flow

Yea I tend to like a 40 in older engines.

In an LS with stock bottom end?

? I'm not sure how that is relevant?
I was pointing out that Penrite labels their oil as extra ten so a 60 is actually a 50.
Do I need to draw you a picture?

I don't know, I use the 15w-60 which is a 15w-50
Let me refresh your memory? Are you really a mech? If yes, best get off the gear if you think putting 15w 50 in an LS with stock clearances is a good idea.
