Hi everyone just want some opinions on which engine oil I should go with on my next oil change.
Quick rundown of the car it a
2006 ve ss with a whipple supercharger running 9psi and all supporting mods cam heads etc
Car is pushing 720 rwhp.

It's currently got (penrite 5w40) in it but I was thinking to go with either (motul 5w50) or
(penrite 10 tenths premium 10
10w60)

Those are the three types I've been told are good for the type of car and performance.
I.ll also attach pictures below of all three oil types

Any recommendations from your engine builder?

imo stick with the 5-40 if its working without issues, performance doesn't affect oil grade only the oil quality and build of engine does, thicker isn't always better and if u have good pressure now at idle and max rpm then it's good only if ur a bit low at max rpm would i increase it or if doing track days with a higher then normal oil temp that makes it get to low

If you’re not having any issues with the hpr5 then I’d stick with it, a local performance shop here uses it in all their high performance builds which include supercharged applications too

Oil weight is based on your bearing clearance, is it stock or forged? With a 2.9 on top, I wouldn't want to get this wrong

my stock bearings were fine on inspection after a few years on boost and using 10-40 and i was on stock oil pump also, stock bottom end will be fine on 5-30 5-40 10-40 i did run the 10-60 for a bit but found the 10-40 was better
