Let me refresh your memory? Are you really a mech? If yes, best get off the gear if you think putting 15w 50 in an LS with stock clearances is a good idea.

Did I say that?
I said penrite 60 is not 60 weight as it's extra ten, it's a 50 weight.
Where you got that I recommended it I will never know other than you sir must be on the gear.

I don't know, I use the 15w-60 which is a 15w-50

You said you use 15w 50, now the question was about what oil the OP would like to use in his LS engine with stock bottom end? Not sure why you would say you use 15w 50?

Are you now back-pedalling and saying you didn't mean what you said? If I have misunderstood please explain why you wrote you put 15w 50 oil in an LS? If you are talking about your smoky 1998 Camry then let us know that's what you mean. Or if you mean you use it on your pushbike chain, then finish your sentence. Because last we all knew that was your mode of transport.

I said I use HPR 15 which by penrite is a 15w-60 mate.
It's not It's a 50 weight.
How hard is this to understand?

What's there to put in context about putting 15w 50, or 15w 60 in an LS with stock clearances. The whole idea of doing that rings stupidity.

I questioned this on page one, as it's ridiculous. I sure hope no one ever takes your advice.

When did I recommend either? The whole idea that you think I did is stupidity.
I only said that a penrite 60 weight is an extra ten so it's actually a 50 weight.
Only your small mind equated that to a recommendation.
