Unless I'm blind the bottom end is untouched. How many kms on it?

my stock bearings were fine on inspection after a few years on boost and using 10-40 and i was on stock oil pump also, stock bottom end will be fine on 5-30 5-40 10-40 i did run the 10-60 for a bit but found the 10-40 was better

Ok nice thanks for that yeah I'm going to go with the penrite 10w-40 racing oil.
It seems like the best balance not to thick and not to thin also the specs on it are go aswell and it's shear free aswell.

Ten Tenths is a great choice and I'd definitely stick with the 40 keeping an eye out for forbidden glitter on changes. A 2.9 is going to pummel that poor sucker even with a safe tune
