Would 20” and 10”wide vertini dynasty rims with 255/35R20 fit on a ve sv6 Ute?

What size hub centric rings would you have to use so the center bore of the wheel matches the hub of a ve?

And what would be a good offset for the wheel?

20x10 will fit, youll want a 40p offset and you will need your gaurds rolled,
tyre choice will depend on how low your ride is.

this is 20x10 40p offset all around, 255 front 285 rear, springs are ssl, just for an idea

1. 40p offset will work well with a 10 inch wheel and the 255 35 20 tyres you intend to fit and 40 p is available in that wheel..You will not get a higher ex factory offset in 5x120 bolt size in that model wheel.
255 35 20 is a legal/approved fit on a 10 inch wheel.

2. You will NOT need to roll the rear guards if you run the 255 tyre because it gives you enough clearance to the rear guard with a 40p offset. (Also the case if you lower the car). Run a 275 or wider tyre and you will need a rear guard roll so the tyres clear the inside guard lip..

3. Check carefully before you buy on the exact wheel width size you are getting because the stock VERTINI wheels in that model are now made in 10.5 inch and not 10 inch from what I have seen. If what you get is a 10.5 inch you won't be able to legally fit a 255 35 20 tyre because the maximum approved width for that tyre size is 10 inches.

4. What size hub centric rings you need depends on the centre bore size of that wheel. So you need to check the size on the wheels you are getting. However all reputable tyre and wheel retailers will ensure they supply you with the correct hub rings for your car as part of the wheel sale. If you deal with a reputable business they will cover this for you and you won't have to run out and buy the hub rings separately.

6. If you are proposing to buy these wheels online via Ozzy Tyres I suggest you read all the consumer reviews on them before you do. I would not hand this business my money until I had the correct wheels sitting in the new unopened boxes on the floor in front of me in their shop.

Is that a 10" 40P in Front also? Do you get any rubbing issues with suspension?

yer i have 10inch 40p all round with ssl, no rubbing in the front with the 255 but had rubbing in the rear with 275 tyres, id suggest a guard roll in the rear, $150 at most places and it will mean more options for rear tyres.
if your in melbourne i can recommend a spot.

Cheers Mate. I wonder if there is a downside to going 255 in the rears as well

Hi guys i have just fitted a set of these wheels to my 2009 sv6 ute. They are 20x10 all round with a 40 offset and i am struggling to fit anything over a 245 with the height of my car. Is there anything yous have done to fit a larger tyre while staying fairly low??
