I've misplaced my Holden VF service manual disc.

I figured as much. It's rare to come across some who uses CDs/ DVDs these days - that too for a workshop manual.

Heck, I have a sizeable movie/ music home library on CD/ DVD/ BD/ Vinyl and many think I'm a dinosaur in the Netflix, Prime etc. era

I gave up on the movies on hard drive about 2010.

I think l had about 40 movies.

Must have been when Thailand? or Vietnam? (whoever was making the hard drives at the time) had the floods.
The price of hard drives dramatically went through the sky.

I watch them once. Thats it,never watch them again.

I can relate to that. I add something to my collection only if I really connect with it. Most of the streaming services do not come close to the quality delivered by physical media and you never really "own" these streaming media either. My 'collection' is not big - less than 100 music albums/ movies.
