Hi guys,
Unlike my VZ, I feel the my VF Calais V suspension leans too much around corners. I personally prefer a firmer ride.
Does anybody know if at next service I can request Holden to change my touring suspension to the VF SV6/SS sports suspension without drama? Anybody know if this would be costly?

Not sure if its just an easy swap over. Although I know there are probably better brands out there, my preference is to remain with Holden parts.

Thanks for your input.

VF Redline.1970 Dodge R/T Challenger 440 six pack.
Put a wanted add here as people have changed suspension to coils or what ever and still might have them in boxes or check on rort bay, take car and box to any suspension shop and they will change cheaply compared to Holden’s cost, another way is ring shops like Pedders and see if they have any bits in the bin.

Or, you could upgrade to VF Redline (FE3)?

My VE has FE3 with 20s. I like the ride....firm but not too hard.....a good balance imho.

Rides better than my old VS with FE2 and 18s.

i honestly don't really find it all that firm, but im coming from a VE where i had pedders coilovers that broke your back.
even the wifes 17 STI is firmer than the FE3, but still nowhere near bone jarring.

With 20" wheels, the NVH is more noticeable with FE3, over and above the stock 19"s, for sure. The ride is markedly better than the FE2 setup. I would say Coilovers might be your best bet, but if lowering, get one that provides enough travel for the internal assemblies, when lowered.
