that is extortion, $440 for 20 minutes work.
even if they did not have a multivin programming sub and they had to purchase a single vin sub @ $55 charging someone $440 for that is rude.

Ride Rude doesn’t really begin to describe charging $440 for less than 15 minutes work. To put that in context, that‘s the equivalent of $1760/hr  Holden just aren’t worth $1760/hr no matter what they think

Even if it‘s a long learning curve, buying a VXDiag Nano for $200 and a subscription (if needed) for $55 makes this DIY calibration well worth it :cool::cool:

( Edited to fix autocorrect… seems my iPad doesn‘t like rude being typed :p )

Mate before you go anywhere regarding the programming connect the trailer to your vehicle and plug it in and check if it works as is. Mine did.

3. I was also told by the service dept. I'd need to spend about $180 getting the car programmed. I can attest to the bullshit of this on my car - it recognised the trailer once it was plugged in, changes the trans shifting pattern, doesn't alarm the sensors etc, and changes the blinkers from 3 to 6 flashes when you 'bump' the stick. Not sure everyone has this outcome.
