Just re-read the whole thread. @Phillbert does say it is the fuel pump fuse. Do you have a multimeter ?

Yes but no idea how to use it, as said elect is not my area.

Had a look at the Fuse Box, how does it come off the body? Looks like a square hole with a tab of some sort either side of fuse box but no idea.

Sparky m8, is too busy to look at it so i'm on my own now...

Post a pic.
On my vt, there are 2 bolts. Maybe something similar with the vs.

Somebody will see your post , & post a solution?

Obviously you won't be able to take it of completely, but enough to turn it over check the back of the block, fuses, relays.
Before doing this, first disconnect the battery.

Engine bay cover has a slit in the ends that slot over a plastic tab.

Grab both sides and flex them outwards to pull them over the tab, then lift up.

Sometimes you can flex one side and manoeuvre it off.

Seem to be a bit lost in getting it off.
There seems to be a hole with a bar inside, i assume a locking pin of some type?

From memory the plastic fuse mount just clips into a piece of sheet body work thats sitting up vertically to mount it. I think it was a flat bladed screw driver into those two holes to flex the plastic barb away from the mount then it just pulls up.

Have not got much further with this as I've been working on my other car...

Got a new Fuel Pump Kit, got 2 questions, where does the black submersible hose go to? (see pic mine is broken) and the bottom filter (top of pic), how does it come off so i can change to pump over.

The sock slips/slides on sideways from memory.

The broken hose will join the bottom of the swirl pot. You may have part of the hose already in the tank, which may be too short to attach. They are also a bitch to replace.

Got the pump on, had to pull the top bit up to free the plastic pipe, pull the sock unit through the bottom brace. When putting sock back on it just clips in position once pump is back in place.

Swirl Pot hose, how the bejesus am i suppose to change that?
What have ppl done to put a new one on? did a little search and seems like a major mission but still cant work out how to get it on.

When i first took the pump out it came with about 300mm of hose which was brittle and broke in my hand, so i imagine there is a bit more in there

From others that have done the change, long nose pliers to remove the spring clip and then pull the hose off. Replacement hose with the clip insert and place over the nozzle.

Alternatives, if you have children to help or borrow a family members child, even a good neighbour with small enough hands to do it.
