Yes well its christmas and im casual and work is off for 2 weeks so i have no income for then, and after that i still dont make enough money to afford they luxurys of new oil
You poor "Aussie Battler".....:(:(:(:( Given that you just spent 150 bucks on gaskets plus coolant, you will have soon wasted that because your too tight to buy a $15 bottle of Gulf Western, which will in time be the killer of the engine. If you can't afford $15 on oil then wait until you can.

But like every other thread you have started, you're the expert and everyone else's advice means ****....

, but yes water will boil from the oil, dont believe me go try it
uh no, i think i'll pass
you cant afford $20 for oil
you sure as hell cant afford the petrol to run the engine, if it keeps running
put the keys away until you can afford oil
btw you are confusing condensation boil off with head gasket quantities of water

i'm picturing a tube of silastic instead of head gaskets

TBH, I'm suspecting we may get told the OP has reused the gaskets and squirted some RTV on......

Stops what winding off? The V6 does not use stud mounted rockers....
Well the old bolts keep vibrating loose, i nip them down with a ratchet while the motor is running and they just vibrate loose again
Unless there is some superficial force holding them on what stops the bolts from working loose?
Or do they come with some good locktite?
Has anyone put studs in them? Because from an engineering point of view i think its better to have it double locknutted

To everyone else i used all new gaskets and the whole kit cost $119 inc postage that i funded through my pathetic sale of random parts
Who cares about fuel useage? Its not like im filling up every week

If you're reusing the original bolts, they're single use and stretch. Hence why you can't clamp them tight enough. And leaning on them with a ratchet over torque specs won't help.

if it was me I would have flushed the engine with fresh oil 3 times atleast when i did my intake manifold gaskets I changed my oil after doing 70km just incase a bit of dirt fell through and that oil still had another 3000km of life left in it i can't believe you didn't dump that water mixed oil. how did you get the correct oil level tho? did you dump all of the milky oil then fill it back up with the milky oil to correct level on dipstick?
