So seller has offered to drop the motor off tomorrow after work. Looks like I have a project to start on this weekend.

Deal fell through. I was due to look at a Triumph Sprint 955 on my day off tomorrow. Got the message last night someone was going there today and it sold. So there will be no additional shed ornament.

Dam, recon you would have enjoyed that , I test rode a demo 2007 1050 sprint , well back in 2007 = trying to rule out the Buell.
Really nice capable sports/tourer.

Well the outboard motor I got tonight is not economically viable to repair. It has either leaned right out or it has had a timing issue, either way one piston has been detonating pretty well. It's even rocking in the bore. I will see what fits my motor and try to sell the stainless prop and see if I can sell what's left. I knew it could have been buggard but I wasn't expecting to see a piston that had started to break down.

Popped the motor on FB and it has hopefully sold. This was after I started tearing it down for scrap. Had around $50-$60 in scrap, plus a few parts to sell. Buyer is willing to pay $90, for the lot, less controls, which are already sold.

Well I was contacted by a bloke today who has a motor same as the one I have sold. It's a freebee. I think I will pick it up and and try to sell it for a profit. It will cost me about $50 in petrol to collect it, but I should be able to offload it for $150.

VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
Started buffing and ceramic coating the Crewman. Got the roof and front done.
Wet sanded with 3000.
Used some new pads. Was happy with them
They performed the same as some of my Lake country pads. Waaaaay cheaper.

Tried a new compound and finished of with One And Done Turtle Wax which is one of the single best compounds I’ve ever used. I used a soft polishing pad. Ceramic coating. Did three coats on the roof. Two coats on the bonnet.

Then wet sanded the back half.

Tomorrow, painting the wiper arms and the cowl. Painting front mud flaps. Get the doors corrected and ceramic coated.

I wasn’t too taken by the Oberk polish. Great finish but the residue was hard to remove. The medium cut and polish was sensational.
