Yea, they're glued. I had a look at those when I was pulling the caps off.

Oh and I am not as stupid as to use that type of auto wash. Only a no touch auto wash. Which has only happened twice to this ute. And never again.

I dont have one. Might give it a shot with gf's hair blower if she has one? Hmmm. See how some air getting in there works for me. If not Ill pull it out tomorrow arvo and have a go at it.

See how you go heating up the lense from the outside with your "gf's" hairdryer :p if you can get the lense nice and hot the water should start evaporating.

She must be the only girl that doesn't own a hair dryer!

Good luck getting the water out mate.

Only condensation, give it some time. Make sure your globe caps are on tight and locked in and the O-rings are ok. Drive around as much as you can with your high beam on as well, day and night drives.

It will eventually evaporate. I had the same problem with my RH headlight getting slight condensation around the Parker/indicator and bottom of low beam projector after a wash.

After the condensation was gone and the headlights were bone dry, I then ran a small bead of clear silicone around the lense join to the light housing on both headlights to make sure no more water could get in, and whallah! Haven't had a problem since!

    Good luck.

    Thanks.

I still have the search I checked daily for 3 years when looking for this one. I had specific things I wanted such as manual, >100,000km, L98 6L engine, dealer (wanted trade in) and local for ease.

As you can see by the link, not much around that matches my ute. Theres a couple private sales though.

    Good luck with it!

Was driving me bonkers! I still have a groan/clunk somewhere on the odd occasion that is bugging me.

Pretty much just maintaining the ute atm. House deposit time, sigh, so all the savings are going to it for next year. Then I'll be back into this towards the 2nd half of 2017. I just keep adding to the list
