Every battery check I do results in normal result.I just bought a new battery for my SSV today as I bought the car 16 months ago so I don’t have any provenance on the battery that’s in it and it looks quite old.
Batteries in my SV6 generally last about 7-8 years as they aren’t being cooked by the heat in the engine bay so yours still going since 2014 isn’t very unusual but I’d say it probably won’t last a lot longer.
Lockdown is not helping the batteries in my 2 cars. 11.6 Volts and 11.7 Volts at start up.
Grumbly kickover on both, but a decent run (within the range from home allowance by Gladys of course) made a difference.
Next start up for both was normal - 12.2 Volts.
But now they're parked again - Volts will drop.
Damn you Delta.
You made me bored and obsessed with detail.
