That could be normal a normal CPS failure set of symptoms. Have you got a P008 anywhere in that history? Changed your timing chains yet?

No, but if there was some sort of mechanical damage to the loom common to both could be a culprit.

Done OIL change and now car has zero power and rattles on drivers side when pushing the pedal OMG !!!

Dude - there is no alcohol in Dettol. oh, I just realized you mean the hand wash nevermind.... You are using the wrong solvent anyway - you need to use something higher up on the petroleum distillation fraction....

That car needs a kero flush. Forget those super "cheap" gimmicks. Your "mechanic" needs an engine flush...

    Vibration in steering wheel

Rotors are unlikely to be "warped" on a car driven by a sane person. They may have excess runout causing a steering vibration issue. Very easy to check if you have a dial meter.

VF storm Sedan Cigarette lighter not working

How did you check the fuse? Did you look at it or test it with a meter? If the fuse has DC continuity and you have 12V at the fuse, then you need to trace the 12V feed along the wire from the fuse to where it stops. Any questions, get back to us.

    2006 VE Commodore wont start/crank

Yes you need a multimeter, preferably one with MAX/MIN reading. ENG mode voltmeter is sketchy. Start by measuring the battery (terminals) before you turn anything on, then when you turn on the IGN, then when you crank the engine. Report back with those numbers.

VE Series 1 Headunit upgrade advice

The Aerpro stuff is a bit hit or miss. I have helped a couple of guys put these in, and one could not get the steering wheel controls to work for love nor money (Kenwood headunit). Aerpro's tech support can take weeks to get a reply even when you speak engineer to an engineer it's damn...

    Do i need resistors?

Definitely not worth it. The factory globes do the job. LED headlights if the wrong colour (read - half of the stuff you buy on ebay) attract the popo and upset the pink slip boys. The T10 offerings are so hit & miss that the lifespan can be around 6 months (compared to 15 years for a...

Holden VE - Aerpro FP-9350 Steering controls

In the system setup - select the steering controls, does the menu come up with a "learning menu" or some other option? If it's learning, you might have to set it up as shown in the self - learn patch mode. It should depend on what wiring you connected when you set up the radio. Did you wire...

    VE Aftermarket Headunit Removal

Just reread your post - you want to remove the radio. You need two little "keys" made out of sheet metal about 6mm wide that slide into the middle of the side of the radio which latch the stainless spring back so you can pull the radio out. If I was a courteous installer I would leave them in...

RADIO WONT TURN OFF WITH IGNITION VT COMMODORE SERIES 2

You need to rewire the power source to the ignition. It was obviously set up with an equalizer or subwoofer or something else and is looking for another switch.

    VE Aftermarket Headunit Removal

Yes this, I just did mine. Despite having a trade background these youtube vids make the process very easy. Especially the thermistor mounting technique, which is quite frankly a PITA... Just make sure if you plan a subwoofer/reverse cam in future you wire those up while you do the headunit and...

    VE Whine solutions ?

Are you talking about RFI from ignition? I've never heard "alternator whine" and if it did, a choke should be an easy fix on that. Try a choke on one supply and see if it makes a difference

    New speakers wired in

Yes this stuff - Sony audio was OK in the 90s. Once they started the exploding marketing they lost the plot... Not even their TVs are worth a schite any more, and that is a sad, sad thing coming from the pedigree of what they used to produce. I think they are now whoring the brand generally for...

My commadore lights turn on but wont crank after reconecting the battery

It looks like you have something connected to the ignition circuit that the canbus is detecting as a fault. Try disconnecting everything you put in there and check whatever it is you are connecting is not a spurious load

That's a normal computer reaction to a dead battery, don't think it's related to your alternator cable

    Dash problems

Bulbs are wired in parallel. LEDs will either work, or not - they won't generally blow fuses, and you generally shouldn't be blowing them up sticking them in your instrument cluster. You probably shorted something out with the prongs of the LED when you installed the new light
