Yep, got a new GPS antenna and took it for a good drive and got some satellites. I think the most i had was 6 idk what the norm is? It was all working sweet but. Everything is back in except the glovebox as I'm just tidying up some wiring. Looks so much better but :)

Hey mate. I have the antenna plugged in and just sitting ontop of the dash trying to get it to change. I took it for a drive around no change.

Ok, got the old system out and hvac. The car is looking mighty bare haha. I checked out the Stereo cages and they look the same anyone no what the difference is?

Probably about a year ago. HOLDEN didn't install mine but so shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks mate, Mine is a white back but looks the same as the above one (HSV). Ill keep an eye out for a series 2 if it pops up there easy enough to change over. Spoke to holden today about the lower trim piece they quoted me $29 or $38 depending on what one i wanted so ill see what shows they...

Hi Zerone. Were did you get the black section IQ surround that runs down to the centre console i need one and have only been able to find grey. Did you leave the E2 cluster in or upgrade to E3 in the end? thanks mate.

Haha yea i bounce in-between abit only just started getting back into spending money on my car haha. Exhaust was leaking so i had alook at it on the hoist and the cats are cracked on the welds and along the bottom :( i like the sound so just want the fix for the leaks haha.

Thanks heaps pir4te. I was originally going to get ballistic cats and may still but through work I'm able to get a killer price on magnaflow cats and the price makes it hard not to buy them.

Anyone used 100CPI magnaflow cats before? Any good?

No worries, might be something to ask about anyway. The one i had didn't have a external x-pipe i think the rep said it was a h-pipe inside the muffler. ive had 2.5" force which i found to quiet then went the 3" and found it much better only swapped it cause got a killer deal on current system.

How long have they had the new systems? i had the long muffler xforce only about a year and a half ago on my VE.

Xforce has 2 different 3" systems. The one with the longer centre muffler sounds a lot better then the one most people get. Have heard a few with cams and the long muffler one actually sounded pretty good.

I haven't purchased anything yet. I'm not looking at Chinese units now it's either series 1 or 2. I've contacted ultimate wiring and am discussing it with him. I haven't got one yet but if I go series 2 I will get firmware update. I'm not really worried about sat nav unless it comes up...

yea i think I'm more towards the series 1 SSV/Clubsport unit or the series 2 iq unit. Just sussing prices and cost for programming at the present.

what are people paying for these systems lately? Been offered a SS one for $300. but only has screen and white box at back and top round vent plastics. Also been offered a SV6 one for $550 with everything to fit into my series 1 apparently. not sure if its good or what not?

90% of people buy xforce cause its cheap and easy to get. From what ive read there an ok exhaust power wise but i just dont like the sound compared to other higher dollar systems.

Yea they are the cloth seats but they feel alot better than the SS ones in at the moment. thanks
