It sure is the part number for the long o2 sensor as i only recently needed to replace mine and used it to get one from sprints as they had one in stock. It cost me around the 80 mark from memory.

Ide probably goto the wreckers and cut the plugs off a loom and sensor and make an extension cable if u know what i mean. As some looms are a nightmare to solder. Or just buy an extension cable. I thought that site was meant to sell long cables not short ones like the ngk sensors.

Hi im going to put a new cat back system in my vs v8. Im looking at the redback and manta brands what does everyone recommend also trying to decide weather to get a rear resi or straight thru rear pipe as i dont want too much attention.... Any opinions are welcome.

just a thought is there any chance u can put another thermo on the other side of the rad? also a bonnet scoop may help to let some air out when doing burnouts too. even wrapping the exhaust headers in heat tape. also does it have an engine oil cooler on it as that could help cool it...

hi can u replace the o rings on the lockable dipstick as mine always pops out (can lock it and pull it out in the locked position) ive tried holdens but they dont sell them anymore unfortunately. if so are they just a standard o ring?

just wondering has anyone installed lukey extractors on a vs v8 if so is it like the pacemakers where u need to remove the rack, and undo the drivers side engine mount and jack the motor up. any other hints would be appreciated. cheers jamie

ok cool well that doesnt happen luckily. i do however hear a air noise when i push the brake pedal down but mainly when i push hard and fast, im guessing it could be normal for the plastic vs boosters tho?

how do u know if u have lost the reaction disk in the booster? i have not done it yet but dont know if anyone else has stuffed around with it in the past. i may grab a spare booster from the wreckers so i can fit the master first so i can get everything lined up then put it in the car.

ok thanks for the info. when i got the vt master from the wreckers i fitted it to a vs booster but removed the bolt in the booster first but it seemed to still be about 1mm too long, did u have to cut the hollow part that the screw goes into the pin in the booster to get it flush or the 1mm...

the guys at abs must not know what they were talking about as they said it had a 1" but i had a look at the wreckers and mines exactly the same as the v6's hence why i got a vt one. cheers

thanks i had already seen that page. it wont be too long until i upgrade the rotors. im guessing it will just make the standard brakes work harder in the mean time. cheers

hi just wondering am i going to have any issues if i put my vt brake master cylinder in my vs without putting vt brakes on the front? if anything ide imagine it would be better with it than the vs master? i know ve upgrade is better but vt is way cheaper hence why im going down that road...
