2003 VY Berlina, First Car

Hi guys.

On eBay there is a full center console for a VZ berlina, that i want to buy and put in my VY berlina...

Do you guys/girls know if it will defiantly fit?

Whats the difference between the two, other than the cup holder flip top cover?
Don't the VZ's have a ESP button in a different spot?
Why not go for a Calais console, or HSV with the black gloss?

Didnt get the console, as he wouldnt ship it from Melb, to Syd....

But main difference is the Top storage.

The Berlina/Calais console is the same. Just difference colours. And the Berlina one is a cheaper conversion for me, as i wouldn't need to get other parts in the black to match the calais, so i can keep the Temperest colour ones i have....

But the odds are ill just paint the edge part for now in satin silver. Then when a cheap Calais one pops up ill get that....

There is a full Z-Series calais interior on eBay for $1000, seats, dash and all.. But money is lacking, and it would be hard to get it from SA to Sydney.... Which is a shame.. As it has a black roof lining aswell...

Picked up my VZ Calais Bumper extensions earlier.. Pretty keen to get them on... But might wait till my other kit parts arrive

whats did you rekn off the line out convertor for your stereo? are they any good. just temporarily till funds alow for a dvd unit. looks good btw the calais bars will look much better.

Yea the LOC is alright. Cant complain about it, but i dont have anything to compare it against. And at the end of the day, the sound quality comes down to the physical song file it self.. So the worst quality file, on the best quality system, will still sound crap..

But Value for money.. Worth it.. My Sub/Amp install cost me $250 all up for wiring, LOC, etc.. That price also inc amp and sub... (Amp and Sub 2nd hand)

Picked up my VZ Calais Bumper extensions earlier.. Pretty keen to get them on... But might wait till my other kit parts arrive
