2012 VE Commodore Wagon SII not cranking over

have you tried to physically rotate the motor
im with the others motor is toast, im guessing seized
a rebuilt motor will cost way more than the car is worth
start scouring wreckers for a clean replacement motor

Nah i haven't tried cranking it manually. It's at the mechanics now. I'll update when i know what's going on.

That's the plan. Definitely getting a toyota. Calling around for a sh engine, getting it fitted then selling the thing.

Ring around all the wreckers, Grant Walker Parts, etc. The workshop it's at should be capable of sourcing a motor.

It will likely run you in the region of $4k to get a SH (so therefore condition roughly unknown) engine installed and you back on the road.
